Throughout the month of July, our Denver location hosted a very intense all-staff Cornhhole tournament. The sixteen person, single elimination tournament kicked off on July, 11th between Holli (reception) and Wayne (saw operator). After a tough battle, Wayne came out on top and advanced to the next round. Also competing on July, 18 was James (shipping) and Jayvon (saw operator). James earned his place in round two.
Wayne and James dominated the right and left side of the brackets and met in the championship round which was held July, 28. The air was tense as the crowd of Erickson employees gathered to watch the final game. Only one would be crowned Erickson Metals Colorado’s Cornhole Champion. After a very combative match, James became the ultimate chornhole champ and received a pretty impressive piece of jewelry.
To wrap up the tournament and the month of July, we brought out the grill and had a good old fashioned cook out. Brats and burgers were grilled up and served with delicious sides and desserts. A good time was had by all!
